To Attach an Element to a Task

  1. From the Schedule Simulation toolbox (Tools > Animation > Schedule Simulation) select Attach Element to Task.
  2. From the Task drop-down menu, select the name of the task to which you want to attach the element.
  3. Do one of the following:

    From the Named Group drop-down menu, select an element (or elements) to attach to the task.

    or

    Use the Element Selection tool to select elements in the active model to attach to the task.

  4. Accept the element with a data point.
